WINEMAKING
De-stalked grapes- alcoholic fermentation at 30-32°C with daily pumping over-maceration (3 weeks) – malolactic fermentation – 30% of the wine is aged in barrels for 2 to 3 months.
TASTING NOTES
Deep red colour with violet highlights. Perfumed aromas of blackcurrant with vanilla and spicy notes. Good concentration on the palate, with tannins present and well-integrated on a persistent and finely woody finish. A wine to taste now or keep for a few years.
PAIRING
Meat, strong cheese – Best between 16°C and 18°C

- Since the 1900’s, our Médoc has been named Léobourg from les Hauts Bourgs (High Villages) meaning grapes are picked in the highest vineyards of the appellation.
