As the weather heats up you want refreshing wines to brighten the day and complement summer dining. Barton & Guestier, offers an extensive catalog to enhance any occasion – especially Father’s Day. Check below for some of the brand’s highlights.

Barton & Guestier, celebrating 300 years next year, brings authentic French terroir and emotion to wine lovers all over the world. The range represents a diversity of French wine appellations from the main wine-growing regions.
The firm was established in 1725 by Thomas Barton, renowned négociant. Daniel Guestier was a reputed importer of Bordeaux wines into Baltimore, in the British colonies in America, and the one who delivered the wines of Bordeaux that President Thomas Jefferson had ordered from Barton.

Here are some of our favorite wines;

B&G Côtes de Provence “Tourmaline”

Barton & Guestier, owner of Château Magnol in the Bordeaux region, has vinified the most famous French Appellations for almost 3 centuries. “Château Magnol is the epitome of elegance, silky and exquisite”. Laurent Prada, B&G Head Winemaker.

Tasting note: Deep brilliant cherry red with violet highlights. Expressive, rich and complex nose mixing black berries (blackcurrant, black cherry) and well-balanced spicy and minty notes. Harmonious, well balanced full, fine and elegant with ripe tannins. The aftertaste is rich and aromatic (fruity, spicy with vanilla and liquorice notes).

B&G Vouvray

Brilliant clear yellow. Fruit driven with lovely aromas of white fruits (peach, pineapple, carambola), as well as delicate flinty notes. Good balance between fruit and flinty. A nice and refreshing finish.

B&G Château Magnol

Veuve du Vernay Ice Rosé Aluminum 250ml 

Light pink colour with purple reflections. Fine effervescence, the bubbles forming a light bead. Fresh nose of red fruits, raspberry. On the palate well-balance between the fruity freshness, the effervescence and roundness.

Veuve du Vernay Brut

Light green yellow colour. Numerous and fine bubbles. White flowers, complexity on the nose, and nice yellow fruits aromas. An elegant wine, well-balanced pleasant, and complex with yellow fruit notes on the aftertaste.
